She was predeceased by: her parents, Estle Tilson and LaVona Tilson (Blunk); her husband Darrel; her siblings-in-law, Roy and Dorothy Metzler; her brother Estle Tilson; and her siblings-in-law, Mona Eriksen and Delbert Metzler.

She is survived by: her children, Scott Metzler of Jefferson City, Brad Metzler (Jeannie) of Omaha, Tony Metzler (Jackie) of Gilbert, AZ, Troy Metzler (Esmeralda) of Chandler, AZ, Chad Metzler (Susan) of Wayne and Sarah Rusk (Jim) of Omaha; and her siblings, Martha Brodersen (Larry) of Wayne, Carolyne Nelson of Commerce City, CO, Tally Schmidt of Tekamah, Diana Tomlinson of Bloomington, IL, Frank Tilson (Michelle) of Tekamah, Kevin Tilson of Tekamah, Terry Tilson (Robin) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Joel Tilson of Cheyenne, WY. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
