She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Gustafson and Esther Gustafson (Borg); her husband Harold Fischer; her daughter Carol Jean Fischer; her granddaughter Jayme Anne Fischer; and her siblings, Jim Gustafson, Morris Gustafson, Marlow Gustafson, Kenneth Gustafson, Marian Keagle, Joyce Bowman and Vivian "Pete" Muller.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Fischer (Leila) of Wakefield, NE, Douglas Fischer (Susie) of Leigh, NE and Barb Preston (Gary) of Wakefield, NE; and her sister-in-law Glee Gustafson of Wayne, NE. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren.
