He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Sr. Rose and Lillian Rose (Novak); his brothers, James and Bert, Jr.; and his daughter-in-law Nancy Rose.
He is survived by: his wife Arla Mae; his sons, Rodney of Omaha and Jeffrey (Julie) of Wakefield; his grandchildren, David Rose (Gina), Kelly Nelson (James), Drew Rose (Des), Trever Rose (Kerry) and Sydney Nissen (Tegan); and his great grandchildren, Makayla, Kassidie, Tyson, Leilani, Kaleb, Hallie, Grant, Walker, Baker, Tessa and Warren.
