With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Lunz of Wakefield, Nebraska, born in Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on January 5, 2023 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Lunz and Betty Lunz (Jeffrey). He is survived by: his wife Jennie Pethoud; his children, Anthony Lunz of Wayne, Jessica Staub (Nathan) of Norfolk and Ashley Rewinkel (Michael) of Wakefield; his grandchildren, MacKenzie Rewinkel, Elizabeth Staub, Gracelynn Rewinkel and William Staub; his siblings, Steve Lunz (Pat) of Wakefield, Jim Lunz (Lisa) of Wakefield, Jean Krusemark (Duane) of Ponca and Jennifer Lunz (Willy) of Portland, Oregon; and his close friend Carla Cavalier. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
