With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel Loofe of Wakefield, Nebraska, born in Walthill, Nebraska, who passed away on October 28, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Loofe and Catherine Loofe (Neill); his sister Elizabeth Loofe; his sister-in-law Kathy Loofe; and his niece Sydney Loofe.
He is survived by: his former wives, Sara Sue Bentjen and Judith Andrew; his wife Judy Loofe of Wakefield; his sons, Daniel G. Loofe, II of Sioux City, IA, Thomas Loofe (Kari) of Sioux Falls, SD and Steven Loofe (Ericka) of Lakeland, FL; his stepchildren, Pam Peterson (Ralph) of Wakefield, NE, Jeff Olsufka (Jamie) of Wayne, NE, Nancy DeMars (Scott) of Santee, CA, Mike Mogus (Tammie) of Wakefield, NE and Patty Roberts (Ed); and his brothers, Gene Loofe (Gloria) of Sioux City, IA, Mike Loofe (Vickie) of Wakefield, NE and George Loofe (Susie) of Neligh, NE. He is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and close friends.
