He was predeceased by: his parents, Nep Swagerty and Edna Swagerty (Johnson); his wife Bonnie Longe; his daughter Betty; and his brother Bob.
He is survived by: his son Terry Swagerty (Ann); and his son-in-law Mike Wood. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
