He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Bymers and Leila Bymers; his sisters, Ruth Vanderlin and Beatrice Van Loon; his wife Dody Bymers; his children, Cheryl Lanzen (Gary) of Henderson, NV, Debra Pierce (J. Daniel) of South Bend, IN, Nancy Tucker (Daniel) of Bennington, NE, Steven Bymers (Kimberlee) of Fremont, NE and Julie Bartholomew (Jarrod) of Pontiac, IL; and his sister Mary Van Loon of Mason City, IA.. He was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
