It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merle D. Heldt in Wahoo, Nebraska, who passed away on July 10, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Heldt and Irene Heldt; and his brothers, Larry and Don. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Heldt (Markmann); his children, Derron (Christine) and Kristie; his grandchildren, Andrew Heldt, Bradley Heldt (Kenzie), Emma Heldt, Jacob Hytrek and Sarah Hytrek; his siblings, Lonnie Heldt (Shirley) of Elkhorn and Karen Williams (Gaylord) of Omaha; and his sisters-in-law, Norma Heldt of Yutan and Nancy Heldt of Yutan.
