She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Ecklund and Clara Ecklund (Magnuson); her husbands, Donald Rood and Jack Christensen; her brother Clarence; her sister-in-law Marge Ecklund; her siblings, Maynard Ecklund and Marge; and her siblings-in-law, Harold Miller, Norma Veskrna and Deanna Laughlin.
She is survived by: her children, David Rood of Wahoo and Debra; her son-in-law Lee Plybon of Wahoo; her granddaughters, Alison Wesely (Brandon) of Wahoo, Melissa Plybon (Ryan Schaffer) of Wahoo and Hilary Ryder (Jared) of Lincoln; her brother-in-law Donald Veskrna of Wahoo; and her stepchildren, Kurt Christensen (Linda) of Bridgeport, NE, Terri Bailey (Don) of Fort Smith, AR, Tracy Kindler (Bryan) of Fremont and Joie White (Ed) of Gilbert, AZ.. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
