He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril John and Phyllis Helen Rhodes (Wilder); his daughter Lisa Tobey; and his sister Sandra Bryant. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Gardner of Waco; and his sons, Kurt Rhodes (Krystal) of Waco and James Rhodes of Gresham. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, multiple cousins, nieces, nephews, and an aunt.
