It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Kagy of Virginia, Nebraska, born in Beatrice, Nebraska, who passed away on May 31, 2021, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Phillip Sr. Kagy and Mildred Kagy (Stevens); his wife Melodee Ruring; his son Brandon S. Kagy; his brother George; and his nephew Damon Swarthout.
He is survived by : his former life partner Paula Hackbarth; his sons, Skylar of Lincoln and Devon (Brianna Barker); his granddaughter Millie of Fairbury; his stepchildren, Meg (Shon) of Unadilla and James Robinson (Lacey); his stepgrandchildren, JJ, Cody and Shelby; and his siblings, David Kagy (Buffy) of Beatrice, Casey Kagy of Colorado, Teresa Kagy of Beatrice and Tanya Kagy of Beatrice. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
