He was predeceased by: his parents, George "Jake" Weiss and Edith Weiss (Erickson); his wife Merline Hinz; his siblings, Dorothy McKinzie (Weiss) and Russel Weiss; and his brothers-in-law, William "Bill" McKinzie, John "Jack" Rotzin (Pauline), Glen Morasch and Dean Hahn.
He is survived by: his son Kevin of Beatrice; and his siblings, Dwight "Jim" Weiss of Sterling, George A. Weiss of Tecumseh and Alene Morasch of Walla Walla, Washington. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
