He was predeceased by: his father Dallas Knotts; and his fathers-in-law, Melvin Grasmick and Conrad Harimon (Blackie). He is survived by: his mother Caroline Knotts (Schmick); his wife Tammy Grasmick; his children, Amber Potts (Josh) and Chad Knotts (Mia); his grandchildren, Caymon Knotts, Addison Potts, McKinley Knotts and Taryn Potts; his great grandchild June Knotts; his mother-in-law Shirley Harimon; his sisters, Ronetta Green (Rod) and Vivian Knotts; and his siblings-in-law, Candace Lord (Jeff Fletcher) and Steve Grasmick (Lori).
