It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy J. Petrie of Virginia, Nebraska, born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on November 20, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Miles and Veva Miles (Brandon); her brothers, George, Leonard and Charles; and her husband Charles M. Petrie.

She is survived by: her children, Michael (Kelly), Carol Ramsdell (Todd), Mark and Daniel (Julie); her siblings, Veloy, Bob (Margarett) and Earl; her grandchildren, Nathan, Cody (Amanda), Jacob, Trevor, Aaron and Hannah; and her close friends, Carrie, Andy, Kalynn (Dylan) and Bryanna.
