He was predeceased by : his parents, William Barnes and Ann Barnes (Martins); his brother Thomas Barnes; and his grandchildren, Annabelle Bench and Ashley Barnes.
He is survived by : his significant other Virginia Johnson; his son Daniel (Sherry) of San Antonio; his grandsons, William and Zachary; his daughter Mary Koenig (Doug) of Lincoln, NE; his grandchildren, Moira, Kirnan, Tatiana, Christiona, Aleena and Josephina; his daughter Theresa Bench of Omaha; his grandsons, Samuel and Seth; his daughter Anne Bradehorst (Joel) of Omaha; his grandchildren, Ethan, Tyler, Krysta and Caitlan; his daughter Barbara Perez of Columbus; his grandson Gabriel; his sister Patricia; and his brother-in-law Terry Scholl of Camdenton, Missouri. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
