She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmy Lee and Lonie Virgil Ivy; her husband William J. Johnson; and her siblings, Lonie Mae Lewis, Rosa Lee Ivy, Alice Spiller, Bessie Wiggins, Henry, Earl, Jack, James, Luscious and Leon.

She is survived by: her children, Larry Owens, William J. Johnson Jr., Terri Ewing (Anthony) of Alabama and Lisa Johnson of Texas; and her brother Johnnie Will. She is also survived by six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
