She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Monty Kroeze; her children, Natasha Kroeze of Reserve, KS and Gary Kroeze of Verdon; her parents, Harry T. Smith and Leslie Smith of Omaha; her brothers, Charlie of Omaha, Jermain of Omaha and Josh Smith of Omaha; her grandson Declane Herwig; and her brother Justin Smith.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to Omaha Children's Hospital.
