He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Rudder and Flora Rudder (Rudder); his spouse Frankie Knight (Martinosky); his son Randall; his grandchildren, Keith Knight, Joe Rudder and Miranda Rudder; and his siblings, William, Kenneth, Marilyn Benge and Edith Simmonds.
He is survived by: his children, Lester, Jr. (Gina) of Pueblo, CO, Robert of Greenwood, NE, Cathy Knight (Tony), Debora Hagstrom (Galen) of Hickman, NE and Thomas of Los Angeles, CA. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
