He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Cihlar and Marie Cihlar (Cernousek); his wife Patricia Nelson; his brother Gary Cihlar; his brothers-in-law, Bill Frank and Gary Effle; and his grandparents, Vincent, Cristina Cihlar (Pavlik), Joe and Mary Cernousek (Somer).
He is survived by: his sister Beverly Miller (Earl) of O'Neill; his in-laws, Sandy Forman (Jerome), Donna Effle and Tara Frank; and his nieces and nephews, Tammy Witchey (Bob), Crystal Miller, Jackie Pavlik (Rick), Jeff Forman, Jay Forman, Becky Koehn, Karla Babcock, Kaitlin Nathan, Michelle Kotrous, Amy Harding and Robyn Barney.
