She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Kosek and Minnie Kosek (Stoural); her husband Wayne "Buddy" Vakoc; and her siblings, Arlene Kosek and Bernard Kosek.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Vakoc, Mary Pat Weber (Rodney), Gregory Vakoc, Steven Vakoc (Joan) and Brian Vakoc (Zoe); and her grandchildren, Colin, Ryan Weber, Amara Madsen, Adam Vakoc, Jared Vakoc, Jodi Langhorst, Caleb, Adriel and Izaak Vakoc. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
