He was predeceased by: his parents, James Novak and Lorraine Novak (Ligon); his brother Gene Novak; and his brother-in-law Gerald Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Janice Wirth; his children, Melissa Keirn of Temecula, CA, Brandon Novak (Cynthia) of Mission Hill, SD, Sara Jensen (Tony) of Billings, MT and Jamie Gartner (James Lagler) of Davis, SD; and his sister Judy Johnson (Novak) of Saginaw, MI.. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
