It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Grace Pavlik of Verdigre, Nebraska, who passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Volquardsen and Mary Volquardsen (Belka); her husband Louis C. Pavlik; her parents-in-law, Rudolph and Tillie Pavlik; her siblings, Johnnie, Carl, Bernard, Gordon, Donald, Dale, Glen, Marie, Bertha, Myrtle, Gladys, Eleanor and Rose Mary; her daughter-in-law Joyce Pavlik (Prokop); and her stepgreat-grandson Christian Swanson.
She is survived by: her sons, Jerald Pavlik (Anita) and Rodney Pavlik (Gina); her grandchildren, Jason Pavlik (Becky), Ryan Pavlik (Megan), Jeanette Mervicker (Clint), Katrina Broders (Neil) and Paige McElfresh (Matt); her stepgrandchildren, Jeremiah Schmitz, Joshua Schmitz (Nicole), Chastity Swanson (Andy) and Michelle Schmitz; her great grandchildren, Corbin Pavlik, Brecken Pavlik, Abraham Pavlik, Graydon Mervicker, Elijah Broders, Isaac Broders, Dawson Broders, Rafe McElfresh, Ava Mervicker, Stella Mervicker, Chloe Broders and Mara McElfresh; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Zackary Swanson, Payton Swanson, Christian Schmitz, Jobe Schmitz, Jethro Schmitz, Nichaella Jamison, Mackenzie Schmitz, Hannah Schmitz, Amelia Schmitz and Temperance Schmitz; her sister Helen Branigan; and her sisters-in-law, Blanch Skokan, Jeanie Pavlik and Carolyn Larson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the ZCBJ Hall. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
