It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Pierce (Verdigre, Nebraska), who passed away on June 12, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Dean Pierce; her parents, Andrew Meyer and Lucy Meyer; her parent-in-law Frank Pierce; her siblings-in-law, Doris Ham, Meyer Ham, Roma Ham (Ben) and Ronald Cook; her niece Marsha Winstel; her nephews, Marvin Ruzicka, Jr. and John Meyer; and also, Mary Pierce, Eva Ruzicka (Robert), Delores Schmit (Richard), Gertrude Ruzicka (Marvin) and JoAnn Gubbels (Jerome).
She is survived by: her children, Gail Pierce, Paul Pierce of Lincoln, Dennis Pierce (Lori), Philip Pierce (LeAnn) of Verdigre, David Pierce of Orchard, Lynn Pierce (Maggie) of West Point and Sherry Land (Mark) of Scottsbluff; her sister Phyllis Cannon of Mountain Home; her siblings-in-law, Carol Cook, Lois Pierce, Arne Pierce and Mike Cannon; and also, Paul, Dennis, Philip, David, Lynn and Sherry. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
