With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mavor Nelson of Valparaiso, Nebraska, who passed away on July 14, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Ohnoutka and Della Ohnoutka (Pekarek); her husband Nels J Nelson; her sister Donna (Ohnoutka); and her brother-in-law Joe Kobza.
She is survived by: her sons, Tim Nelson (Melani) of Valparaiso, NE, Dan Nelson (Connie) of North Bend, NE and Bob Nelson (Tracy) of Lincoln, NE; her grandchildren, Josh (Ashley), Nicole, Travis Nelson of Valparaiso, NE, Carley, Trevor Nelson of Lincoln, NE, Austin Nelson of Kansas City, MO, Breanne Nelson (Travis) and Brooke Nelson of Lincoln, NE; her great grandchildren, Zayden Nelson of Lincoln, NE and Grayson Davis of Lincoln, NE; and her brother-in-law Bill Nelson of Lincoln, NE. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
