With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jim Woita of Valparaiso, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 4, 2024 at the age of 64. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jim Woita to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Woita and Lorene Woita (Jambor); and his sister-in-law Susan Kennedy Woita. He is survived by: his siblings, Kathryn Jones (Doug) of David City, Barbara Goodman (Bob) of Overland Park, Patricia Westlund (Bill) of Lincoln, Mary Roberts (Doug) of Lincoln, Paul Woita (Bridget) of Lincoln and John Woita of Lincoln. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (580 I St, David City, NE 68632). A rosary was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials can be made in care of Family Wishes for later designation.
