We are sad to announce that on May 6, 2020, at the age of 81, Evelyn Castaway (Valentine, Nebraska), born in Rosebud, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecelia Hutchings (Yellow Robe) and Harold Hix; her brother Clarence Hutchings (Butch); her husband Edward Castaway Sr.; her sons, Samuel and Edward Castaway Jr.; her grandsons, Alvin Whipple and Louie Castaway; and her grandparents, Samuel and Margaret Yellow Robe (Turning Hawk).
She is survived by: her sister Pearl Rodicker (Hutchings); and her children, Victor Thomblinson, Verbena Shook (Castaway) and Margaret Castaway. She is also survived by five children, 22 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.
