With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorthea Cook (Valentine, Nebraska), who passed away on October 16, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincente Lopez and Mamie Lopez; her husband James Cook (Jim); and her siblings, Anita, Albert, Christina, Vincente Jr., Margaret, Leon and Rita.

She is survived by: her daughter Jodi (Dave Sedivy); her grandson Tyler; her sister Josephine; and her siblings-in-law, Helen, Darrell Cook and Kevin Cook. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
