He was predeceased by: his father Merle; and his brother-in-law Ed Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Steinkruger of Upland; his mother Colleen Steinkruger of Upland; his stepchildren, Susan (Chad Fries) of Minden and Scott (Savannah Johnson) of Minden; his grandchildren, Gage of Minden, Gracie of Minden, Bailee Fries of Minden, Hailey of Minden, Rilynn of Minden and Landon Johnson of Minden; his siblings, Tammy Johnson of O'Fallon, MO and Jim (Brandi Steinkruger) of Upland; his nephews, Luke Johnson of O'Fallon, MO and Dylan Steinkruger of Upland; and his niece Emma Steinkruger of Upland. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
