It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James K. Tomsen of Upland, Nebraska, born in Minden, Nebraska, who passed away on January 7, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nels Tomsen and Luella Tomsen (Meyer); his former wife Luanne Tomsen; his brothers, Donald, Willis "Tiny" and Charles "Chuck"; and his former wife Elaine Codner.
He is survived by: his children, Ulysses "Jon" (Karissa), Bjorn (Cassandra), Katrina Burkhardt (Edward) and Gunnar (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Jase and Tucker Tomsen; his children, Grant, Taya, Thayer Tomsen and Theodore Tomsen; his sister Betty Kempf (Fred); his former wives, Donna Morris and Jean Tremblay; and his nephew Charles "Andy" Tomsen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended relatives.
