He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harms and Hattie Harms (Fett); his siblings, Ferdinand, Harry, Edward, Paul, Elford, Vernita, Ruth, Esther and Marie; his grandchildren, Luke Harms, Candy Flood (Sweetser) and Brady Sweetser; and his great grandchild Caitlyn Armstrong.
He is survived by: his wife Rogene Harms (Kleine); his children, James of Lincoln, Debbie Sweetser (Gorden) of Sidney and Jeffrey of Lincoln; and his grandchildren, Brandon Sweetser (Lisa) of Mobile, AL, Santana Moreno (Phil) of North Platte, Shane Harms of Lincoln, Angel Sweetser of Gardner, KS, Miranda Beyer (Jason) of Columbus, OH, Caleb Sweetser of Sidney, Jeffree Sweetser of Omaha, Michael Sweetser of Montreal, Jasmine Dunn (John) of Sidney, Travis Sweetser (Cindy) of Lincoln, Mikala Sweetser of Sidney, Lily Harms of Lincoln and Jacob Harms of Lincoln. He is also survived by his 25 great-grandchildren, and his three great-great-grandsons.
