Merwyn Eloise Stubbendeck Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Merwyn Eloise Stubbendeck of Unadilla, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 16, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert C. Lauderback and Edna Lauderback; her husband Edgar Stubbendeck; her grandson Dane Jolley Jr.; and her siblings, Margaret, Robert Jr. and Virginia.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Thorpe and Dane Jolley Sr. (Lisa); her grandchildren, Richard Thorpe and Mackenzie Thorpe; her great grandchildren, Ethan Thorpe, Dane Jolley III, Kaya Jolley and Layla Jolley; and her granddaughter-in-law Rebecca Jolley.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Home - Syracuse Chapel (644 Park St, Syracuse, NE 68446). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Lutheran Church (1434 N 30th Rd, Avoca, NE 68307).
Memorials are suggested to the First Lutheran Church (North Branch) or St. Croix Hospice.
