She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucius Tupper and Florence Tupper (Black); her husbands, Leorice "Bub" McNutt and Emerson "Tom" Kemp, Sr.; and her siblings, Hazel Paxton, LaVada Rodewald and Lyle Tupper.
She is survived by: her children, Shara, Patty, Mart McNutt (Cindy) and Duane McNutt (Sami). She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Tryon Fire and Ambulance in Mary's name.
