He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Bridget McWhirter; his siblings, Robert, Lavern and Myrna; and his siblings-in-law, Allen Schukei, Loran Quandt, Vernon Saulter, Dwaine Pekarek and Fran Lau.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn McWhirter; his children, Spouses, Brad, Annette McWhirter, Steve, Nancy McWhirter and Jeff McWhirter; his grandchild Spouses; his sister Tatum McWhirter; and also, Ashley, Matthew Dornhoff, Aaron, Sarah McWhirter, Brittany, Keith Faimon, Brooke, Zach Birkel, Chad, Kayla McWhirter and Colton McWhirter.
