Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Shirley Rotter (Trenton, Nebraska), born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 82, on February 19, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jean and William Rotter (Ben); and her siblings, Jerry Franklin, Elaine Jacobsen and Carollee Wallen.
She is survived by: her children, Debby, Cyndi Rotter-Hansen (Ray) of Norfolk, NE, Matt Rotter of Palisade, NE, Deb Hansen of Lincoln, NE, Kris Rooney (Brad) of Trenton, NE and Stacy Rotter of Palisade, NE.; her brothers, Jim Franklin of Omaha, NE and John Franklin; and her grandchildren, Eric, Bryan (Amber), Sarah, Jeremey, Nick (Nancy), Travis (Jess) and Dylan.
To honor our mother, the family is asking that you donate to the Alzheimer's Society and/or visit a nursing home soon, bringing the gift of joy and peace to someone there who needs it.
