She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Benedict and Hazel Benedict (Fiechter); her husband Roy Hidy; her brother Ed Benedict; and her brother-in-law Alfred Cressler.
She is survived by: her son Roland Hidy (Diane) of Trenton; her grandchild Bailey; her sisters, Betty Cressler of Jennings, Kansas and Barb Wolfe (Larry) of Elwood, Nebraska; and her siblings-in-law, Wayne Hidy (Rachel) of McCook and Vonda Hidy of Sun City, Arizona. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
