With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David E Gibbens (Trenton, Nebraska), who passed away on April 10, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Gibbens and Mary Gibbens (Hafer); his siblings, Mary Jean Billups and Pete; and his sister-in-law Suzy Beede.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Bennett; his siblings-in-law, Lee Smith of Boise, ID., Nancy VanderHoop (Dave) of Boulder, Don Bennett (Anneke) of Coeur and Bob Beede of Eagle, ID.; his foster son Tim Frett of Parachute, CO.; his daughters, Connie Brott (Larry) of Hayes Center, NE. and Kathy Hangs of Silt, CO.; and his grandchildren, Summer Montover (Adam), Nolan Brott (Lacey), Nathan Brott (Hannah), Abbie Brott, Tessa Stinson (Blaine), Jessica Hangs and Jacey Hangs-Fritzlan. He is also survived by 11 Great-Grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
