He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlan Nelson and Bernita Nelson (Gee); his daughter Pam Larsen; his siblings, Cheryl Tassemeyer, Karolyn Fisher and Scott Nelson; and his grandchild Rashelle Nelson.
He is survived by: his son Gary Nelson (Dawn) of Tilden; his grandchildren, Danielle Martin, Ashleigh, Steven Nelson, Sami and Jake Larsen; his great grandchildren, Oakleigh Nelson, Kyra, Aiden, Vada and Jase Martin; and his siblings, Marilyn Harlan (Charles), Tom Nelson and Rich Nelson.
