He is survived by: his wife Carol Howard of Tilden, Nebraska; his children, Brian Smith of San Diego, Gregg Smith (Lucille) of Lyons, David Howard (Lori) of Lincoln, Nicole Howard and Shelby Goracke (Tanner) of Meadow Grove, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Erica, Sean, Trevor Smith, Megan and Andrew Howard; his great grandchildren, Maci, Waylon and Adler Smith; and his siblings, Merret Howard of Meadow Grove, Karen Kifer of Tilden, Mark Howard of Plainview and Candy Ford of Yuma, Arizona.
