James L. Stewart Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James L. Stewart of Tilden, Nebraska, who passed away on April 14, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Stewart and Zada Stewart (Ziegenbein); his sisters, Fern Downing, Kathy Stewart and Violet Erxleben (Darrell); his grandson Michael Hauser; and his nephew Ernie Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Ramona Stewart; his children, Sheree Stewart of Tilden, Darren Stewart (Teresa) of Greeley, Brian Stewart (Monica) of Tilden and Sandra Moore of Tilden; his sister Nina Marvin of Ainsworth; his grandchildren, Star La Croix (Jason), James Ring (Sabrina), Travis Pofahl (Sara), Ben Stewart (Quinci), Josh Stewart (Jessica), Samantha Underwood (Aaron), Johnathan Moore, Michael Moore (Autumn), Andrew Moore, Amanda Evers, John Evers and Kelly Evers; his great grandchildren, Donny Jensen Jr., Austin Jensen, Blaze Lenhoff, Daizey Lenhoff, Lucy Ring, Parker Rand, Korbin Rand, Tesla Pofahl, Averi Shepherd, Chase McIntosh, Allison McIntosh, Stella Stewart, Romeo Cruz, Bryant Amezcua, Raylan Underwood, Blakely Underwood, Liam Moore, River Moore, Zada Moore and Willow Moore; and his uncle Lloyd Ziegenbein (Kay). He is also survived by his family, extended relatives, and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brockhaus-Harlan Funeral Home (303 E 2nd St, Tilden, NE 68781). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (500 S Center St, Tilden, NE 68781).
