He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Ritter Jr. and Ella Ritter (Clausen); his sisters, Louise Prevo, Eleanor Fields and Emma Irene; and his son-in-law James Miller.
He is survived by: his cousins, Patsy Moore and Scott Moore; his wife Clara; and his children, Patricia, Fredrick (Becky) of Columbus, Duane (Amy) of Tilden and Dale (Kimberly) of Alma. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
