She was predeceased by: her parents, Harlan V. Nelson and Bernita Nelson (Gee); and her sister Karolyn Fisher. She is survived by: her spouse Tom Schmoldt; her child Andy Tassemeyer; her husband Douglas Tassemeyer; her children, Kent Schmoldt (Denise) of Plano, Kurt Schmoldt (Janet) of Battle Creek and Gretchen Tassemeyer; her friend Eric Ziola of Tilden; her grandchildren, Justin Tassemeyer, Hallie Schmoldt, Eric Schmoldt, Amanda Schmoldt, Alexander Tassemeyer and Johannah Tassemeyer; her siblings, Ron Nelson and Marilyn Harlan (Charlie); and also Andy Tassemeyer of Tilden. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
