He was predeceased by: his parents, Mick Shelly and Marilyn Shelly; and his siblings, Candy Sue, Cindy Rein, Timothy and Tommy.

He is survived by: his children, Marilyn, Mick Shelly, Nicole and Krissa; his brothers, John and Sam; and his aunts, Melba Stager and Charlotte Steinbock. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
