He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Ellen Tobin; his cousin Bill Tobin; his brother Donald; and his grandparents, Bernard, Mamie Connealy, John and Helen Tobin.

He is survived by: his father Dave Tobin; his siblings, Mike (Lorri), John (Annette), Phil (Jill), Kevin (Amy) and Teresa; his nieces and nephews, Michael Fleming (Kylee), Mark Fleming (Abbey), Jessica Phillips (Jake), Brett Tobin, Thomas Weigardt, Mariah Tobin, Hannah Tobin, Courtney Tobin, Katie Tobin and Kristen Tobin; his great-nephews, Stephen, Vicktor and Fox; his great-niece Ava; his aunt Barb Siggins; and his friend Jason Comes.
