With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan C. Benson (Tekamah, Nebraska), born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on September 27, 2019 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan C. Benson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond H. Benson; and her parents, Maynard Herbett Killion and Mosettee May Killion (Peterson). She is survived by: her former husband Andrew Gerken; her siblings, Jim Killion (Anna) of Omaha, Ray Killion (Bert) of Omaha and Susan Crosby of Syracuse, NE; her sons, Jay Gerken of Bettendorf, IA and Andy Gerken (Grace) of Blair, NE; her grandchildren, Aaron Gonzales (Kathy), Jennifer Gerken of Naples, Samantha Gerken of Austin and Shelby Gerken of Blair; and her great grandchild Ophelia Gonzales. She is also survived by cousins and relatives.
