He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Rieken and Frances Rieken (Davison); his parents-in-law, Lynn Petersen and Vera Petersen; his sister Ellen Rieken; and his son-in-law Richard Renken.
He is survived by: his daughter Christine; his wife Phyllis; his daughters, Laura Wickham of Tekamah and Annette Renken of Bertrand, NE; his sisters, Carolyn Moody (Gary) of Niobrara, NE and Nancy Oberg (Roger) of Farnam, NE; his grandchildren, Dr. Dustin Renken of Colorado Springs, CO, Tigh Renken of Bertrand, Eileen Hansen (Sam Kelley) of Green Bay, WI and Lydia Hansen of Zimmerman; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Petersen of Omaha and Evelyn Patterson (Mark) of Sioux Falls, SD. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
