It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen M. Ahrens (Tekamah, Nebraska), who passed away on June 10, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen M. Ahrens to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dye and Gladys Dye; her brothers, Clinton and Harold Dye; and her nephew Kirk Dye.

She is survived by: her significant other Elden Ahrens (Boz); her children, John Ahrens (Nancy) of Fremont, NE, Jayne Edwards (Ken) of Newark, TX and Jo Owen (Les) of Laurel, NE; and her brother Karl Dye (Kathy). She is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
