She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Hovendick and Anna Hovendick (Rehmus); her husband Leonard "Hinnie" Beard; her stepmother Amelia Fitch Hovendick; and her stepbrothers, Joe Fitch and Clyde Fitch.
She is survived by: her sons, Lonnie Beard (Debbie) of Herman, Gary Beard (Nancy) of Uehling and Mike Beard (Paige) of Omaha, NE; her grandchildren, Brian Beard (Jodi) of Gretna, NE, John Beard (Pei-Chun) of Olathe, KS, Lisa Peterson (Jon) of Papillion, NE, Brad Beard (Megan) of Elkhorn, NE, Jake Beard (Jill) of Osage Beach, MO and Aaron Beard (Angie) of Omaha; and her stepsister Donna Holstein. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
