We are sad to announce that on February 25, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Shirley Mae Higgins of Tecumseh, Nebraska. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Paul; her boyfriend John Lambert; and her siblings, Hugh, Harvey Laflin and Linda Kay.
She is survived by: her children, Arnie Higgins of Lincoln, Lonnie Higgins of Crab Orchard and Theresa Weber of Tecumseh; her siblings, Helen McKenzie of Avoca, Jim Laflin (Judy) of Rockport, MO, Diane Richardson (Jim) of Adams, Jeannie Rogman (Wayne) of Lincoln and Deb Belding (Mike) of Beatrice; and her sister-in-law Marjorie Laflin of Crab Orchard. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Wherry Mortuary (202 N 3rd St, Tecumseh, NE 68450). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may go to the family's choice.
