He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Packett and Margaret Packett (Magnall); his grandmother Elaine; his siblings, Jim, Gary, Dave, Maxine, Mary, Margaret, Barb and Jane; his wife Elaine Margaret Pluta; his sons, Bob and Randy; his grandsons, Johnny Packett, Joey Packett, Scott Meister and Randy Packett Jr.; his great grandchild Chance Graham; and his siblings-in-law, Herman Pluta, Ronnie Pluta, Melvin Johnson, Francis Pluta, Jeannie Johnson and Kay Pluta.

He is survived by: his children, Linda Christensen of Tecumseh, Steve of Beattie, KS, Ranae (Tom Othmer) of Elk Creek, Alan of Clatonia, Rick of Tecumseh, Tammy (Brad Meister) of Wilber, Cindy (Mike Trimmer) of Tecumseh and Lori (Jim Parrish) of Tecumseh; and his siblings, Ed of Springfield, Pat of Falls City, Doris of Topeka, KS and Danny of Filley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandkids and friends.
