It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Robert Jones (Tecumseh, Nebraska), born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on March 8, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Jones and Ruth Jones (Wiles); and his nephew Derek Jaxon. He is survived by: his wife Flo; his sons, Charlie Pierce (Julie), Daniel Jones (RaeAnn) and Jason Jones (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Alyssa (William Taylor), Justin Pierce, Cara Pierce, Keegan Jones, Cooper Jones, Hayley Jones and Hanna Jones; his sister Linda Jaxon (Terry); and his nephew Don Jaxon.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wherry Mortuary (202 N 3rd St, Tecumseh, NE 68450). A memorial service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church (71955 NE-50, Elk Creek, NE 68348).
